A day spent exploring the forms and textural qualities of the everyday objects which surround us. Working with man made objects as well as natural forms you will be instructed through a series of exercises which encourage you to consider their surface, texture, weight and volume. This workshop offers the chance to play and experiment with various wet and dry materials: inks, graphite, chalk, charcoal, collage and paint, discovering and pushing their mark-making capabilities.
